From the series “One Hundred And One Notions”

I’m excited to announce that “Paper Weight”, an exhibition of my latest work in paper, will open to the public on August 29, 2018, at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art in Eugene, Oregon. The exhibit will be on view through January 20, 2019.

From the series “Oblivious”

I will travel to Eugene to discuss this work in a gallery talk on Friday, September 21, at 4 pm. The talk will be followed by a public reception from 7 to 9 p.m. You are invited to be part of the talk and public reception.

This exhibition consists of six series of 2D and 3D pieces inspired by the mind’s six cognitive faculties: consciousness, perception, thinking, judgment, language, and memory. Thematically, I’m interested in studying the intricacies of the human brain, the wonders that it can produce and its potential for destruction and chaos. My work as a whole reflects on universal issues of identity, connectivity, and survival.
